What is Wellness?

How do you feel? Really feel? I mean right now this very second. Close your eyes and take a tour of your body. Start with the feet and slowly go up your body to the head.

That being done, did you feel any areas of stress - pain, discomfort?

How is your attitude? What is your mind concerned with other than reading this post?

Wellness is knowing what's going on with you in both physical and spiritual - and knowing what to do about it.

Our bodies did not come with an instruction book. Although we have professionals who study the body and how to work with it, it is up to you to know what's going on with your health and the best options.

No, you don't have to be a MD or Nurse to treat yourself - you want all the assistance you can get in dealing with trauma and advanced disease. However you have the right to manage your own health care - and it's getting harder in some areas to do that.
